Spiked Spiced Cider

It’s officially fall, and it’s 45 degrees. I can’t explain how happy this makes me. I have decorated my house in earth tones and pumpkin smells, colorful throw blankets, and many decorative pillows. Fall is my favorite time and to drink fresh cider makes it the best. It’s been a rough time trying to get recipes out because my last year of my undergrad degree has started and I need to focus hard on my studies.

Pumpkin season!

  • 6 Cups of Cider
  • 1 orange
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 apple sliced thinly
  • 1 cardamom (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

This is a super easy recipe. You literally throw everything into a pot on the stove and let it boil for at least 10 minutes. You then will grab your favorite mug, put a shot (3oz) of Caramel or vanilla Vodka, or your favorite rum and ladle the hot mixture on top. Grab a cinnamon stick and your ready to snuggle up on your couch with a blanket and watch “Halloween town.” Happy Tasting!

The best way to get into the fall mood.
